Consultations~ Our consultation packages are geared towards getting you healthy and educating you on how to heal your body by adjusting food and lifestyle. Both packages will aid you in understanding your unique body constitution and it's needs. The packages were put together to give you the best chance of achieving your health goals. You can receive one consultation at a time, but results will vary depending on your commitment.
All consultations start with my FREE 30 Minute Consultation to find out if Ayurveda is right for you.
Single Consultation €80 (you will get the best results if you can commit to 4 continuous consultations, but consultations may be booked one at a time)

Pancha Karma (Ayurvedic Detoxification- 3, 6 or 14 days)
Panchakarma is Ayurveda's way of deeply cleaning the body. We are offering 3, 6 or 14 day cleanses at Amruta Ayurveda Rejuvenation Centre to start on the first week of June 2010. Packages will be put together depending on the need of each individual client and generally range from €390-€1560 and does not include accommodation but does include the following:
- Detoxification diet (all meals)
- Herbs for the duration of cleanse plus herbs for paschat karma
- Herbal detoxification tea
- Daily body treatments
- Ghee
- Detailed plan during and after cleanse (includes Ayurvedic consultation)
- Yoga classes during cleanse if staying overnight in B&B

Panchakarma (Sanskrit: literally meaning "five actions") is the word for the five different procedures used in Ayurveda to purify the body. This is done in two ways; pacifying the aggravated doshas by using appropriate diet, and natural herbs; and eliminating the increased Doshas from the body. Panchakarma is advisable at least once a year (usually spring) but preferably at each change of season.
In order for someone to receive pancha karma they would need to know that there are three parts:
- Purva Karma (Preparations before receiving Pancha karma)
- Pradhana Karma (The procedure of Pancha Karma)
- Paschat Karma (Post procedures to build up the strength of the body)
Purva Karma therapies would consist of:
- Internal Oleation
medicated ghee or oil is taken by the client so that fat soluable toxins can bind with the oil/ghee and be flushed effectively by the lymphatics-through the daily abhyanga (full body massage) - Mono diet (kitchari)
a meal made with moong dhal and basmati rice, cooked in ghee and soothing detoxifying spices. During the mono-diet nothing else is permitted to be eaten until after Pradhana Karma is complete - External Oleation through the use of:
- Swedana
This is steam treatments that include abhyanga (massage) and shirodhara. In the steam treatment we use a tent that covers the massage table -this is applied after massage with oil and helps the client sweat toxins out and stimulates the metabolism to burn off ama (toxins) - Abhyanga
-Ayurveda full body massage This massage has many purposes - it re-hydrates and nourishes the skin, balances the energies of the body, pacifies vata (the no 1 cause of most of our problems), and it stimulates the lymphatics to transport the toxins out of the system. - Shirodhara
This treatment involves medicated, warm, herbal oil continuously poured over the forehead. This treatment is deeply therapeutic and rejuvenating to the spirit and mind. It puts you in a profoundly deep state of soul relaxation-remembering inner perfection.
Pradhana Karma are the cleansing therapies performed after proper Purva Karma has been completed.
Therapies recommended are tailored to what dosha needs to be cleansed from the body. Keep in mind not all of these therapies would be prescribed for each person.
- Nasya (nasal therapy)
a medicated oil or powder is administered to the nostrils (purifies the mind and calms the upper chest area-especially respiration) - Vamana (emesis/vomiting therapy)
Purges kapha/mucus/phlegm from the lungs - Virechana (herbal bowel flush)
Cleanses excess Pitta and Ama (toxins) from the entire digestive tract. - Basti (enema therapy)
2 kinds of Vasti/Basti (therapeutic enema); herbal decoction enema and oil enema. Basti is used to pacify aggravated vata. Reverses dry colon, dehydration, emaciation, flatulence, and constipation.
Paschat Karma
is always given after Pradhana Karma to make sure the body is strong, mind is clear and health is at it’s peak. For this Rasayana (longevity tonics) are given. These are powerful ayurvedic herbal rejuvenators to build the strength of the body. Rasayana’s are given as the last treatment of Pancha Karma as Ama (toxins) block the effectiveness of the Rasayana therapy.
Fat Loss Packages (Weight Loss)
Fat Loss~Losing weight can be challenging and difficult and one of the hardest parts is taking the first step and asking for assistance. We understand this, but want you to know that all things worth having may seem challenging in the beginning. Support and understanding is key to reaching any goal.
Our fat loss packages are tailored to your specific needs. In Ayurveda one size does not fit all and when it comes to losing weight this couldn't be more true. Diets and programs you have tried before haven't worked because they don't take into consideration your unique body constitution. Learn what your unique constitution is and have a plan created just for you so you can keep the weight off for good.

Nasaya
Used in Ayurveda for any health condition above the neck. Nasya helps relieve conditions such as sinus problems, headaches, excessive fear and worry, depression and memory. Clients lay comfortably on their back while the face is heated with a warm cloth and oil is dripped in each nostril one at a time. The nasaya oil is infused with herbs to aid the body with health condition.

Kati Basti (dough dam)
Kati Basti relieves conditions of the the body using a dam made from dough and filled with herbal oil. The oil is warmed so the body absorbs the herbs and oils. Kati basti relieves conditions such as back pain, stiffness, problems with spine and joints. It is recommended to receive a series of treatments for best results.

Abhyanga (Ayurveda Massage)
Come and experience this luxurious massage to realign your energy and help to rejuvenate yourself. . This massage works with the energies of the body to make you feel completely in balance. Medicated oil is used and will be specific for your body type or dosha.

Shirodhara
Experience this deeply relaxing completely indulging treatment. A continuous stream of warm herbal oil is poured over the forehead improving memory, sleep, worry and anxiety. Finished off with a head, neck and face massage.

Amruta (Eternal) Signature Treatment
